Safety, Care, Use Instructions and Disclaimer

Use Notice: The Precision Collar (US Patented) has two training surfaces, a flat smooth outer side and an inner side, which is inlaid with multiple plastic, non-penetrating, cone-shaped spikes that project toward the neck of the canine wearing the The Precision Training Collar. 

The Precision Training Collar can be used in all training activities to include companion pets, sporting and working dogs, or for animal rehabilitation and therapy. 

    • Do Not Use The Precision Training Collar until you have read this instruction sheet in its entirety.
    • User assumes the risk when using this product. K9 Precision, LLC shall not be liable for any damages that result from use of the The Precision Training Collar. 
  • For proper use of The Precision Training Collar: The spikes will rest gently against the neck of the dog until pressure is applied by the trainer or handler by pulling on the leash (not included) which is typically attached to the bale adjacent the buckle.  When the bale is attached to the leash which is being held by the trainer or handler, the buckle and bale are located on the back of the neck of the dog, thus positioning the spikes around the lower portion and sides of the animal’s neck.  Thus, from the perspective of the public, the training dog collar has the same general appearance of a standard flat buckle dog collar.

  • Pulling on the leash (not included) connected to The Precision Training Collar enables the trainer or handler to utilize compulsion, which is the act of using force to train a dog, without as much physical effort on behalf of the trainer or handler as is normally required with other collars, including the pinch collar, or harnesses.

  • Applying The Precision Training Collar to the canine is as simple as placing a flat buckle collar onto the canine.  
    •
  • The nature of The Precision Training Collar allows the canine to wear the collar even when not  being trained or supervised.  The Precision Training Collar has no protruding parts that can be hooked on environmental structures, such as a crate, fence, carpet or gate.

  • The adjustment in size of The Precision Training Collar is done the same as is done for simple flat buckle collars, which is to fit the collar around the neck of the dog and passing the distal end through the flat buckle and inserting the catch into the appropriate one of the holes proximate to the distal end.
    •
    • Use common sense. Never over-exercise or over-tire your dog when training. 
    • The Precision Training Collar may be used inside or outside. 
    • This product is not a toy and should only be used with adult supervision. 
    • Do not let your dog chew on The Precision Training Collar. 
    • Hand wash with warm soapy water. 
    • The length of time this product will last will depend on the amount of usage and care.
    • Keep instruction sheet for future use. 

    Limited Warranty

    K9 Precision, LLC warrants to the original purchaser that this product shall be free from manufacturing defects for a period of sixty (60) days from the invoice date. If your product shows signs of defective manufacturing during that time, please contact us directly at:

    Your remedy under this warranty is limited to the replacement of your product by K9 Precision, LLC; all shipping and return costs shall be at your own expense. If it is determined that your product shows signs of defective manufacturing, K9 Precision, LLC will replace such product within sixty (60) days after receipt by K9 Precision, LLC. This warranty does not extend to any defect or problem caused by the negligence of you or others, failure to maintain the product in accordance with the instructions furnished.


    K9 PRECISION, LLC SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, WITH RESPECT TO PERSONS, BUSINESS, CANINE OR PROPERTY WHETHER AS A RESULT OF BREACH OF WARRANTY, NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE.
